My name is Valerie Seals! I am currently serving as a committee member for NVTESOL! My goal is to become more engaged with our members and increase our involvement in our community as it becomes safe to do so! I have worked with ELs as an Elementary Teacher and now I work for Southern Nevada Regional Professional Development Program (SNRPDP) as a K-12 ELD Trainer and ELAD Endorsement Coordinator and a K-5 Literacy Trainer. As many of us do, I wear many hats. I am also a mom of two toddler boys, Troy (4) and Alex (2), who keep me as busy as my career. My husband, Jeff, and I live in Henderson and love going to sporting events and eating good food! =)

I am looking forward to our hike on May 16th and hope to meet many of you there!
